Dalbeattie is a small town in Dumfries and Galloway and is easily accessed by road from the M6/A75 from Gretna via Dumfries or by train to Dumfries.
Dalbeattie is known as the Granite Town and sits in the Urr Valley 15 miles from Dumfries, 6 miles from Castle Douglas and 4 miles from the coastal villages of Kippford and Rockcliffe.
The Museum is situated on Dalbeattie High Street, close to car parking and shopping area.
